Mosier Oregon

Welcome to Mosier Oregon (population 421).

Mosier in the State of Oregon

Mosier is one of the communities that make up the Columbia River Gorge.

While the local economy around Mosier has long been centered around it's thriving fruit orchards, recently recreational oriented tourism has been on the rise. Many of the most popular activities center around the Columbia River, such as waterskiing, windsurfing, paragliding, sailing and fishing. Of course it's not necessary to go out on the river to have fun, many other outdoor activities are available in the area; hiking, camping, and cycling are also very popular. Mosier is also a great place to come spend a weekend simply relaxing at a local bed and breakfast. There are some fantastic scenic drives in and around the gorge, and Mt. Hood and Mt. St. Helens are both close enough for a day trip.

Mosier is situated between The Dalles and Hood River in Oregon's stunning Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area. Mosier is just 65 easy miles east of Portland on Interstate 84.
